Boonso (or more accurately BunsO) is the filipino word for the youngest child in the family. They are well-loved and always get the best piece of the pie! I want to SHARE this with anyone who tries our treats—that they got the best piece of the pie (or cake or whatever it is!)

I was a fashion designer in New York City who spent weekends elbow deep in flour, chocolate streaks all over the walls of my shoebox kitchen, trying out new recipes, learning new skills, and exploring the city for exciting dessert ideas. Now, years later in Charlotte, I am still elbow deep in flour, chocolate streaks all over my —now slightly larger— kitchen!
